Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
12 months of financial customer service or related banking training.
Fundamental understanding of banking products, cross-selling strategies, and debit/credit principles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
Ability to navigate standard office technology, software platforms, and mathematical problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of direct banking experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct client interviews to identify financial needs, recommend solutions, and manage long-term customer relationships.
Assist customers with selecting, opening, maintaining, and closing all consumer and business account types.
Cultivate retail business by capitalizing on growth opportunities and driving revenue production.
Proactively cross-sell bank products and services, referring customers to specialized internal staff when appropriate.
Accurately process retail/commercial deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial services.
Act as a resource for the team by providing technical guidance, training, and operational support to less experienced branch staff.
Perform essential branch clerical duties, assist with IRA/HSA administration, and cross-train in teller operations.
