The Personal Banker delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying their financial needs and providing advice on suitable solutions. This role involves collaborating with BMO partners across various channels to ensure a desired customer experience and achieve business objectives. Key responsibilities include proactively engaging with existing customers and prospects for needs-based assessments, recommending tailored solutions for everyday banking, retail investments, lending (including home financing and small business solutions), and guiding clients on digital and self-serve options. The Personal Banker also supports customer transactions, grows BMO's business by building community relationships, addresses credit audit issues, applies risk management frameworks to protect bank assets, and makes credit recommendations. The role requires acting as a key member of a collaborative branch and market team, understanding customer needs, integrating marketing promotions, organizing information for accuracy, and continuously improving the customer experience. It involves adhering to risk and compliance policies, staying current with financial market trends, and identifying suspicious activities.
