About The Position

Cambridge Savings Bank is seeking a Personal Banker for its Harvard Square location in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The role focuses on building long-term customer relationships and helping customers manage their bank accounts and finances, while demonstrating the bank’s core values and commitment to customer service, diversity, and inclusion. The Personal Banker performs customer transactions accurately and efficiently, develops knowledge of the bank’s products and services, and recommends or sells relevant products and services to existing and prospective personal and business customers. The role also includes balancing cash and assisting with branch settlement, following applicable banking policies and procedures, and performing additional duties as required. The stated salary range is $20.85–$27 per hour. Actual compensation depends on factors including the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Full-time roles include access to employee benefits. Cambridge Savings Bank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interact with all types of people and quickly build rapport.

Responsibilities

Understand and adhere to Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML), regulatory, security, retail banking, and bank-wide policies and procedures.
Perform customer transactions accurately and efficiently to provide consistently high-quality experiences to internal and external customers.
Develop and maintain substantial knowledge of bank products and services.
Sell and cross-sell bank and partner products and services to prospective and existing business and personal customers based on their needs.
Balance cash at the end of the day and assist with branch settlement.
Perform additional duties as required.
