About The Position

Five Points is seeking an experienced Personal Banker Manager for the Grand Island Broadwell location. This role involves managing all personal banking functions, including staff scheduling, time off, and performance. The manager will also maintain and administer IRA and HSA accounts, and train and coach personal banking staff on new policies, customer service expectations, and all personal banker duties.

Requirements

Excellent Customer Service skills
Minimum of 5 years of banking experience required with knowledge of IRA’s, HSA’s and CIP requirements
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Effective communication skills
High School Diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required
Five Years of Banking Experience
Management experience
Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Self-motivated and directed
Keen attention to detail
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Strong customer-service skills

College level courses and/or degree preferred

Responsibilities

Provide technical and compliance support to all employees in the areas of Personal Banking; IRA’s HSA’s and CIP compliance issues
Train all new employees in the department. As well as continually training of all department staff.
Manage all department staff
Complete annual evaluations on all department staff.
Maintain and administer IRA and HSA accounts
Open new accounts for customers
Provide assistance to customers in regard to their banking needs
Perform maintenance on CD, IRA, HSA accounts and review daily, weekly and monthly exception reports
Create monthly reports for the board of directors
Maintain department operating procedures
Consult with the IT department on software used to open accounts
Assist the marketing department with brochures and product designs and promotions
Back up with the renting, accessing and closing of safe deposit boxes
All other duties as assigned
