The position is responsible for all Teller, Senior Teller, and Personal Banker I accountability. This includes assisting on the teller line, greeting members in the lobby, and assisting members with all inquiry types and loan needs. The role achieves individual sales goals and contributes to the success of the branch by listening to customer concerns, addressing their needs, and emphasizing product features. It involves having effective conversations about loan protection products, developing interpersonal skills to work with diverse individuals, and building rapport quickly. The position requires displaying confidence and self-assuredness, using consultative sales techniques to offer products and services that align with member financial success, and performing consultative analysis of credit profiles and account history. It also includes completing service calls and outbound call efforts, understanding offerings, and providing referrals to business partners. The role involves opening all types of consumer and business accounts, managing a book of business, and serving as a consumer lending expert, particularly in home equity and business credit card products. Additionally, it requires creating relationships with new business members, maintaining knowledge of business banking operational procedures, reviewing and approving Power of Attorney documentation, demonstrating leadership skills, coaching peers, and serving as an escalation and problem resolution expert. The position is responsible for opening and closing the branch in management's absence, providing training and feedback on equity referral opportunities, partnering with management and teams to achieve referral goals, and potentially attending offsite meetings. The role also includes completing cash audits and understanding check hold policies.
