Requirements

High school diploma or GED
One (1) or more years of experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in a financial institution
One (1) or more years of cash handling experience, preferably in a financial institution
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Some college experience
Knowledge of banking rules and regulations
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse clientele
Personal Banker experience, including teller experience

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions
Open a variety of new accounts, including checking, savings, and CDs and assist customers with inquiries regarding their accounts
Process retail and commercial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and check cashing
Educate customers on various banking products, services and digital banking tools to enhance customer relationships
Maintain accurate records in compliance with banking regulations
Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality
