About The Position

This role is for a Personal Banker I who will be the first point of contact for customers, setting the standard for banking experiences. The ideal candidate believes in trust, integrity, and building relationships with customers across generations. They should be empathetic problem-solvers who consistently deliver an exceptional banking experience.

Requirements

• Monday–Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with Rotating Saturdays, 8:30am–1:00pm availability
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Providing coverage in both personal banking and teller services while meeting consumer banking performance standards
• Educating and advising customers on deposits and loans, and providing support for service or account maintenance issues
• Using good judgment in every situation to do what is right for each customer
• Providing teller services, including deposits, payments, and check cashing in compliance with established bank policies and procedures
• Maintaining proper cash on hand and preparing daily settlement of teller cash and proof transactions
• Managing risk while actively practicing loss prevention
• Attending teller and personal banking training to stay current with information and remain familiar with applicable policies, laws, regulations, and Bank Secrecy Act policies
• Developing relationships with clients, aiming to be their point of contact
• Providing advice and guidance to help people along their financial journey
• Taking action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
