About The Position
We are currently hiring Part-Time Personal Attendants to join our Community Outreach in the Hamilton area! Thrive Group is proud to be certified as one of Canada’s Great Places to Work®. This position requires you to have a vehicle and driver's license.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Access to a reliable vehicle is required.
- A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
Nice To Haves
- Personal Support Worker certificate is not required but is considered an asset.
- Courses relating to personal support services for persons with disabilities or seniors, health & safety, first aid, physical and emotional needs of persons is an asset
- Experience providing support for persons with disabilities or seniors on a paid or voluntary basis either in a work setting or through personal life experiences is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Providing non-medical personal support services, life-skills support and light housekeeping duties to enable clients to remain in their own homes and live as independently as possible.
- Assisting clients with personal care and housekeeping services.
