About The Position

Salus Homecare is looking for caregivers to work in various cities in Orange County, including San Clemente, Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, Trabuco Canyon, and Lake Forest. We have a variety of shift lengths available, including 4, 8, and 12-hour shifts, as well as live-in opportunities. All client interactions are one-on-one, with shifts available during both day and night. We are looking for candidates available 7 days a week. This position offers competitive pay rates based on shift length, with potential for overtime and a daily gross for live-in positions. Requirements

Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) - CA State requirement involving registration and Livescan fingerprints for FBI Background check. Salus can assist with this process.
TB Test - Must be within 90 days of start.
Must be able to legally work within the USA.
Physical capability to perform all job functions.
Safe driving record and valid auto insurance if driving clients.
Ability to speak, write, and read English.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) including bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding/meal prep, toileting, ambulation, medication reminders, and social interaction.
Be oriented and well-trained on all aspects of the client’s Plan of Care.
Perform meal preparation and cooking.
Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, and laundry.
Drive clients to and from medical appointments and grocery store.
