The role involves maintaining a safe, stimulating, stable, and comfortable environment. Staff are crucial in helping individuals learn, maintain, or improve skills needed for independent living, providing support based on their hopes, dreams, and preferences. The position emphasizes affording individuals privacy, treating them with dignity and respect, and ensuring access to coordinated services and supports tailored to their unique strengths, needs, and choices. Staff actively participate in all aspects of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of member services and supports. The role offers a flexible and fun daily atmosphere and includes paid training.
