British American Household StaffingNew York, NY
$50 - $60Hybrid

About The Position

A warm, professional family based in Manhattan with a newly purchased home in White Plains is seeking an experienced Personal, Family, and Household Assistant to provide approximately 20 guaranteed hours per week of support. This is a unique hybrid position that combines remote administrative work for the family as a whole with hands-on household management in both Manhattan and White Plains. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, technologically savvy, and enjoys taking ownership of projects. The family is looking for someone who can anticipate needs, solve problems independently, and help simplify the day-to-day logistics of a busy household. The family currently employs a full-time nanny and plans to hire a part-time housekeeper for the White Plains residence in the future. The position will primarily focus on family administration, vendor coordination, household projects, errands, scheduling, and supporting the family's eventual transition into their new White Plains home in 1-2 years. There will likely be renovation projects in the future, though plans are not yet finalized. The family values professionalism, maturity, excellent judgment, discretion, warmth, and someone who naturally takes initiative without requiring significant oversight. The family would especially appreciate someone who enjoys helping create structure, proactively identifies ways to improve household operations, communicates openly, and is happy to take genuine ownership of their responsibilities. They are seeking a collaborative partner rather than someone who simply waits for direction.
