About The Position
UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSP's (Direct Care Professional) for the following Shift. UCP Heartland offers a positive, team driven, work environment at $21.00/Hour. As a DIRECT CARE PROVIDER, your work will make a difference in people’s lives 365 days a year! This position requires 5-7 days of mandatory training at our corporate office Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM. All UCP Heartland schedules/shifts are awake shifts.
Requirements
- High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
- Valid Drivers’ license
- Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
- A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Computer Proficiency
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- 5-7 days of mandatory training at our corporate office Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
- Follow medical orders and administer medications.
- Provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.
