About The Position

TheKey is seeking compassionate Personal Assistant/Companionship Caregivers to provide 1:1 support to aging seniors in their homes and communities. This role involves meaningful companionship and practical personal assistant duties, with opportunities for growth into memory care. Requirements

At least 18 years of age
HCA Registration with the State of California (assistance provided upon hire)
Meeting state background requirements
Valid driver’s license
Access to a fully insured personal vehicle
TB Clearance or Chest X-Ray
Eligible to work in the US
Must be able to drive clients to appointments

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in caregiving/companion roles
Strong personal assistant or household management skills

Proactive, organized approach
Weekend availability is highly preferred

Responsibilities

Provide friendly companionship, conversation, games, puzzles, and emotional support.
Accompany clients to social events, stores, outings, and appointments.
Help organize calendars, schedule appointments, make plans and follow through, run errands, and assist with grocery shopping.
Perform basic cleaning, laundry, organizing, and other tasks to help keep the household running smoothly.
Drive clients safely to appointments, social activities, stores, and errands.
Provide light transfer and mobility assistance as needed.
Act as a reliable point of contact with excellent communication skills to coordinate with family members and other care team members.
