Requirements

• 12+ Early Childhood Education units, qualifying for Associate Teacher Permit eligibility or higher
• Active California Child Development Teacher Permit with a minimum of 3 infant/toddler units preferred
• Candidates who are permit eligible or have a permit application pending will also be considered
• Minimum 6 months of experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare, Head Start, or early childhood education setting preferred
• Must be able to successfully clear the TrustLine background process

Nice To Haves

• 6+ Infant/Toddler units preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom coverage and support for infant/toddler classrooms during staff leave.
• Implement age-appropriate activities that support children’s developmental, social-emotional, and learning needs.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment while following program policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with teaching teams and site staff to support daily classroom operations.
