About The Position

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking individuals who are driven to make a significant impact in the construction industry. This role involves developing and delivering essential infrastructure such as factories, grids, transit systems, and public facilities, with a focus on innovation, safety, and sustainability. You will collaborate with a team of experienced professionals, including project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists, who combine practical experience with digital advancements and AI to transform capital project planning, management, and execution. The goal is to build for the future and exceed industry norms. Depending on the role and location, applications may be directed through various Accenture legal entities, with benefits varying by country and role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Planning, Communications, Public Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting construction or public agency on projects, preferably in public transit, transportation, or other publicly funded capital projects.
  • 2+ years supporting project documentation, permitting or regulatory compliance tracking, schedule coordination, and construction administration.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with permitting and approval processes for public infrastructure, including environmental and cultural resource conditions (CEQA/NEPA), encroachment permits, and utility agreements.
  • Experience with public outreach, community engagement, or communications on an active construction project.
  • Experience maintaining stakeholder databases, CRM tools, or public inquiry tracking systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support the PLA Lead in monitoring conditions of approval, permit requirements, and deliverables throughout pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
  • Maintain the PLA tracking matrix, including the Conditions of Approval Matrix, ensuring it remains current as requirements evolve.
  • Prepare dashboards, summary reports, and status updates to track permit and approval compliance.
  • Coordinate with contractors, design disciplines, and agencies to align schedules and manage submission timelines.
  • Support the preparation and completion of project close-out documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture action items, maintain action logs, and track follow-through on commitments.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of stakeholder engagement activities, including meetings, social media planning, public events, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Stay informed of on-site construction activities and proactively coordinate with contractors to ensure public notifications and mitigation measures are delivered on time.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing communications materials.
  • Conduct outreach to local businesses and residents regarding upcoming construction activities.
  • Expand and maintain the stakeholder database.
  • Coordinate and respond to public inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate stakeholder databases and engagement records.
