About The Position
Permanent Building Substitute Teacher: Naperville CUSD203 is a large, suburban school district with 22 schools and many opportunities to substitute each day. We have high expectations for students and for staff, including our substitute teachers. Daily Rate = $175 Not a benefits eligible position Location = Naperville Central High School
Requirements
- Active state of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Willingness to work 5 days per week at the assigned school
Responsibilities
- Deliver lesson plans as instructed by the regular classroom teacher and/or school administrators.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students within the assigned classroom and appropriately respond to all emergency situations.
- Ensure the protection of equipment, materials and facilities as appropriate.
- Communicate in a positive way with all students, staff, and others.
- Manage student behavior which supports a positive learning environment
- May be required to participate in building events such as fire drills, evacuations, assemblies, etc.
- May need to direct activities of a classroom assistant(s)
