Substitute - Special Education
About The Position
The job of Substitute - Teacher acts in the absence of the regular classroom teacher and assists students with learning subject matter and/or skills that are required for scheduled lessons; and provides meaningful instruction for assigned classrooms. This could be in a regular education, special education, or vocational education classroom. This job description does not state or imply that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position. The employee in this position will be required to follow any other instructions and/or duties requested by the Administration. All applicants must be approved before being added to the active substittute register. Submitting an application and completing the training is not a guarantee of employment as a substitute.
