This role is responsible for providing quality customer service within the Perishable Department. The associate will maintain standards in accordance with the standard practice manual, maximize sales through excellent customer service, and minimize shrink through proper utilization of standard practice. Ahold Delhaize USA is a division of Netherlands-based Ahold Delhaize, and is the parent company for its U.S. companies, including local brands like Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford, and Stop & Shop, as well as service companies like Retail Business Services, Peapod Digital Labs, and ADUSA Supply Chain. Together, these local brands form the largest grocery retail group on the East Coast and the fourth largest nationally, operating over 2,000 stores and distribution centers across more than 20 states and serving millions of customers weekly through a local omnichannel experience.
