About The Position
The Perioperative Support Assistant will assist with patient care and help transport patients. You will assist with transport/assist in discharging patients. Also assist providers and other personnel as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- BLS Certification

- Knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques
- Ability to prioritize tasks and assist providers and other clinical personnel in coordinating patient care efficiently

Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care and transport.
- Assist in discharging patients.
- Assist providers and other personnel as needed.
- Support providers and other clinical personnel during the transition of patients during the surgical process and daily operations.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and properly stocked work area.
- Assist with operating room (OR) turnover and cleaning/restocking supplies.
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
