About The Position

The Perioperative Resident Registered Nurse position is located in the Main Operating Room. This role involves three 12-hour shifts plus call. The program utilizes Periop 101: A Core Curriculum, a standardized education program for RNs entering the perioperative specialty. This program provides classroom and online instruction, along with clinical experience, to equip nurses with current information and evidence-based Guidelines for Perioperative Practice, including graduate-level QSEN competencies. Upon successful completion of this program, the residency position will convert to a full-time OR Nurse position. Requirements

  • BLS Certification required.
  • Must be able to perform essential job-specific functions either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation.
