Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Administration required or bachelor's degree Business Administration required or bachelor's degree Related Field of Study required
  • Experience in project management and process improvement 8-10+ years required
  • Experience in management or team leadership 3-5 years required
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of hospital regulations, compliance, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve operational performance.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams on process improvement activities.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project management program that aligns with the organization’s mission, vision, and operational excellence goals.
  • Mentor and guide staff on best practices in operational excellence and project management.
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, resource allocation, and performance metrics.
  • Manage resources and budgets to support operational excellence initiatives.
  • Communicate progress and results of operational initiatives and projects to senior leadership.
  • Directly leading a team in support of the ambulatory treatment room (ATR).
  • Independently own all associated project-based work from the ATR, as well as participate in leading operational projects for the perioperative team.
  • Demonstrate experience creating and leading strategy design and helping to guide conversations and projects related to strategy development and implementation across perioperative services.
