About The Position
Join the clinical team at Southwoods Health, where we provide elite surgical and diagnostic services. We are seeking a dedicated RN to guide patient care through the entire endoscopy process—from intake to recovery. The Role You will provide direct patient care in the perioperative endoscopy setting, including assessment, plan implementation, medication administration, and outcome evaluation. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications via the American Heart Association.
- Exceptional critical thinking, leadership, and the ability to articulate clinical data clearly.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform preoperative assessments in Pre-Op Holding and manage post-procedural recovery and discharge in the PACU.
- Vigilantly monitor for changes in patient condition and execute interventions appropriately.
- Accurately record patient status and treatment responses to keep the multidisciplinary team updated.
- Ensure all practice processes remain compliant with OSHA, The Joint Commission (TJC), and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH).
- Advocate for patient privacy and maintain cost-effective use of clinical resources.
