Organization: Main OR Tech Support 10 Job Summary: Performs general cleaning tasks within and outside of patient rooms. Ensures instrumentation, supplies, and specialty equipment is delivered and available for scheduled procedures. Delivers sterile supplies and equipment to the Operating Room. Requirements

Customer Service (Intermediate)
Sterilization Preparation (Fundamental Awareness)
Surgical Equipment Knowledge (Intermediate)
High School Diploma or GED
Less than 1 year of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

Performs general cleaning tasks within and outside of patient rooms.
Ensures instrumentation, supplies, and specialty equipment is delivered and available for scheduled procedures.
Delivers sterile supplies and equipment to the Operating Room.
Responds to emergency calls or requests for cleaning services.
Assists in preparing patient rooms for procedures to include cleaning services, sanitation, removing supplies/equipment and transporting special equipment and supply needs based on AAMI standards.
May remove solid and/or biohazard trash.
