About The Position

Select Dental Management (SDM) is seeking a patient-focused Periodontist for Castleton Corners Dental in Castleton, VT. This part-time position, available on Fridays, offers a competitive annual salary of $160,000-225,000. SDM partners with dental practices to provide operational and educational resources, allowing dentists to focus on delivering exceptional care. Castleton Corners Dental is a modern, fully digital practice that emphasizes personalized care, advanced technology, and a compassionate environment. The role involves delivering comprehensive periodontic treatment, performing examinations, diagnosing conditions, creating treatment plans, and utilizing digital tools like iTero and Cone Beam. Clinicians are encouraged to grow their skills and capabilities within a supportive network.

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active state dental license and DEA registration (as required).
• 3-5 years of proven proficiency in periodontic procedures including, but not limited to, implants, gum therapy, extractions, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• GPR or AEGD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive periodontic treatment — with a focus on patient comfort, education and outcomes.
• Perform thorough examinations, diagnose periodontal conditions and create clear, patient-centered treatment plans.
