About The Position

As a Periodontist, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized dental care to our patients with gum diseases and other related conditions. This is an amazing opportunity to lead a referral-based practice already producing over $3.2M per year with an office team and culture that is one of the best. A very developed referral network for this very busy practice. This will eventually lead to being the sole provider in this practice.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years' experience
Must have worked in a true referral-based periodontics practice
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
Completion of a periodontal residency program
Valid state dental license and current CPR certification
Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Periodontics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat gum diseases, gingivitis, and other related conditions
Perform periodontal procedures such as scaling and root planing, root surface debridement, and pocket reduction surgery
Administer local anesthesia and sedation as necessary
Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to provide comprehensive treatment plans for patients
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive measures to maintain healthy gums
Stay up to date with the latest developments and techniques in periodontal treatment
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
