About The Position
This is a Specialty Periodontal Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) position within a practice focused on advanced surgical and non-surgical periodontal treatment. The role involves working alongside experienced Periodontists to provide comprehensive periodontal care to patients referred from across the state. The position emphasizes preserving oral health, managing periodontal disease, maintaining natural dentition, and improving patients' overall quality of life. Requirements
- Licensed Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
- Passion for periodontal therapy and patient education
- Experience with periodontal maintenance and SRP preferred
- Laser certification is a plus
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care
- Desire for continuous growth and clinical excellence

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive periodontal assessments
- Deliver Scaling and Root Planing (SRP) therapy with quadrant-based care
- Perform periodontal maintenance therapy
- Monitor disease progression and treatment outcomes
- Educate patients on oral-systemic health connections
- Collaborate directly with Periodontists on treatment planning and case management
- Support surgical cases through ongoing maintenance and patient education
- Utilize laser therapy as part of periodontal treatment protocols (for certified providers)
- Build long-term relationships with patients committed to improving their periodontal health
