About The Position
We are seeking a Perio Dental Assistant to join our team at Commonwealth Dentistry. As a Perio Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing the highest quality dental care to our patients.
Requirements
- Experience in surgical dental assisting is required for this position.
- Must have a current X-Ray certification.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the periodontist during various treatment procedures
- Taking and developing dental radiographs
- Managing patients under sedation
- Serving as an infection control officer
- Ensuring that patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
- Providing patients with instructions for oral care
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene strategies
