Requirements

Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire Required
RDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Upon Hire Required
Other OB/GYN Cervical length certification within 1 Year Required

Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge of equipment and ultrasound protocols.
Produces high quality images for interpretation.
Competently Performs when assisting with invasive procedures.
Completes studies accurately in a timely manner.
Exhibits positive attitude when communicating with physicians, patients and staff.
Accepts constructive criticism and strives for improvement.
Shows flexibility.
Maintains all necessary certifications and demonstrates continued competence once certified.
Acts as a resource in the perinatal units for other sonographers, students and residents.
Assists in the education with the above.
