About The Position

Provides direct patient care to patients in an ambulatory setting using the nursing process. Must be able to manage the care of assigned patients and cope with rapid patient turnover. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the population served.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Successful completion of the Basic Arrhythmia and Conscious Sedation Classes and ACLS certification required.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• One year nursing experience in an ambulatory setting required for level II, 2 years required for level III.
• Routine nursing skills.

Nice To Haves

• One year acute care nursing experience preferred, but will provide on the job training.
• CAPA or CPAN certification required for level III.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-admission testing when necessary.
