About The Position

This RN supports patients through outpatient brachytherapy procedures, providing care in preop, intraop, and PACU. Responsibilities include peri-anesthesia care, anesthesia clearance, and procedure scheduling. The role is highly collaborative and focused on safe, efficient procedural flow and patient-centered care. Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and be adaptable/flexible. May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• RN with at least 1 year of experience in procedures or operative care (such as PACU, Pre-Op, or OR) required
• Minimum 1 year as RN required

Nice To Haves

• Experience in procedural or peri-anesthesia care (Pre-op, PACU, OR) is preferred but not required
• Ideally, this RN would have perianesthesia experience (OR, PACU, procedural nursing), or ICU experience
