About The Position

Ambulatory Anesthesia Care (AAC) has established a safe, effective, and financially viable office-based anesthesia model that has been replicated nationwide. We are expanding our office-based anesthesia practice to Dallas, TX, and are seeking skilled Perianesthesia RNs to join our team. This role involves providing pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care within our office-based anesthesia facilities, working 3 days per week. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with anesthesia and surgical teams and is dedicated to delivering safe and high-quality patient care. Nursing care is provided during standard surgeon business hours, Monday through Friday, with no evenings, Sundays, or holidays. Bilingual candidates, especially Spanish speakers, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Graduate degree from an accredited RN program.
Active RN licensure in the state of TX.
A minimum of 3 years of ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience.
BLS and ACLS certification.
Reliable transportation.
Willingness to drive to client locations.

Nice To Haves

PALS certificate is preferred.
Bilingual candidates, especially Spanish-speaking, are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the pre-operative assessment and care of the patient.
Provide intra-operative care.
Provide post-operative/recovery care.
Maintain the pharmacy and supplies.
Safely handle all equipment.
Participate in quality performance improvement activities.
Assist with completing pre-operative patient assessments via our secure patient portal as needed.
