About The Position

Ambulatory Anesthesia Care (AAC) is establishing an office-based anesthesia practice in Abilene, TX, and is seeking skilled Perianesthesia RNs to join their team. This role involves providing pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to patients within office-based anesthesia facilities. The position offers a 3-day work week, with nursing care provided during standard surgeon business hours (Monday-Friday), eliminating evenings, Sundays, and holidays. Bilingual candidates, particularly Spanish speakers, are encouraged to apply. The Perianesthesia nurse will also be responsible for maintaining pharmacy and supplies, handling equipment safely, and participating in quality improvement activities. Occasional assistance with pre-operative patient assessments via a secure patient portal may be required.

Requirements

Graduate degree from an accredited RN program
Active RN licensure in the state of TX
A minimum of 3 years of ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience
BLS and ACLS certification
Reliable transportation
Willingness to drive to client locations
