About The Position

This role involves monitoring patient vital functions, adjusting equipment settings on heart-lung machines and other life-support equipment during cardiac and complex surgical procedures, ensuring proper circulation and oxygenation while the heart or lungs are temporarily stopped and collaborating closely with surgeons and anesthesia teams to maintain patient stability and support successful surgical outcomes.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of experience required
• Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions
• Must be able to work 5x days a week
• Must have minimum 5 years of experience in Perfusion
• Must be comfortable operating in fast pace emergent cardiac cases
• Must have Spectrum Pump experience
• ACLS, BLS, Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP) certificates required
• Bachelor’s degree in related fields of study
• CVOR, General OR, Pedi CVOR, Pedi General OR, and Trauma Level 1 Work Setting Experience Required
• At least 1 year of EPIC experience
• Teaching Hospital Experience required
• Community Hospital Experience required
• Trauma Level I Experience required
• Clinical Perfusionist Travel Experience required

Responsibilities

• Independently assist is ECMO cannulation in adult, pediatric and neonatal patients
• ECMO Transport
