Position Overview The Perfusionist provides comprehensive perfusion services for cardiac, vascular, ECMO, and other surgical procedures. This role partners closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence. Reporting to the Manager of Perfusion Services, the Perfusionist performs duties consistent with our mission, values, and service standards while contributing to innovative patient care and departmental success.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.
Licensed Clinical Perfusionist (LCP) in the applicable state of practice.
Provisional licensure accepted for new graduates.
Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) required.
ABCP certified or eligible.
New graduate Perfusionists are encouraged to apply.
Candidates hired with provisional licensure must obtain: Licensed Clinical Perfusionist (LCP) credential, and Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) certification within one year of employment.

Nice To Haves

Previous perfusion experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform all perfusion-related responsibilities during cardiac, vascular, ECMO, and other surgical procedures.
Operate and manage perfusion equipment while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality outcomes.
Participate fully in departmental clinical responsibilities, including on-call coverage.
Support seamless workflow and operational excellence within the Perfusion Services department.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, surgical teams, and intensive care staff to coordinate patient care.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and departmental innovation.
Maintain clinical competency through continuing education and professional development.
Foster strong communication, teamwork, and service excellence throughout the organization.
