About The Position

SpecialtyCare is seeking a Staff Perfusionist to join their Portland team. This role is open to both new graduates and experienced perfusionists. The team performs approximately 600 cases annually with a 5-member team, rotating call equally (1/5 weekdays and every fifth weekend). Case complexity primarily involves CABGs, Valves, and Aortic work, with no ECMO. Each perfusionist handles around 125 cases annually. The position services an account in Clackamas, Oregon, and offers a good work-life balance with access to outdoor activities and a vibrant food scene. SpecialtyCare is the largest provider of perfusion services in the United States, supporting one in eight heart surgeries nationally and is an employer of choice for over 500 perfusion leaders.

Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited Perfusion training program.
Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or meets other Company requirements as a perfusionist.
Ability to work on Call.
Must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
High level of ethical, intellectual, professional and personal values.

Ability to adapt and thrive in a high stress environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Proven self-starter who works well independently and as a part of the OR team.
