About The Position

SpecialtyCare is seeking a new graduate or experienced perfusionist to join their team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This team performs a variety of adult cases, with an expected caseload of around 150 cases per year. The case mix includes CABGs, valves, HiPECS, VADs, and ECMO. The role offers flexibility and a good work-life balance in a city known for its outdoor activities and cultural landmarks. SpecialtyCare is a trusted partner for cardiac ORs, providing custom solutions and being a leading provider of ECMO in ICUs.

Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited Perfusion training program.
Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or meets other Company requirements as a perfusionist.
Ability to work on call.
Must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
High level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values.

Excellent communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Proven self-starter who works well independently and as a part of the OR team.

Responsibilities

Perform perfusion for a variety of adult cases including CABGs, valves, HiPECS, VADs, and ECMO.
Pump approximately 150 cases per year.
Work on call and live within 30 minutes of the hospital.
