About The Position

SpecialtyCare is seeking an experienced or new graduate Clinical Perfusionist to join its team in Phoenix, Arizona. The role supports an adult-only caseload averaging more than 1,500 cases annually, including valve and CABG procedures and minimal ECMO. The perfusionist works with three surgeons and a team of 13 perfusionists and perfusion technicians in a collaborative environment focused on patient outcomes and work-life balance. The position requires on-call availability and living within 30 minutes of the hospital.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited perfusion training program.
• Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP), or meet other company requirements as a perfusionist.
• Ability to work on call.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital.
• Strong ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team and company vision.
• Focus on clinical quality and delivering the best results for patients.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a high-stress environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as as part of the operating room team.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical perfusion services for an adult-only caseload, including valve and CABG procedures and minimal ECMO.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, perfusionists, perfusion technicians, and the operating room team.
• Be available to work on call.
