$0 - $60Remote

About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced, execution-ready Performance Marketing Manager for a temporary contractor role to provide coverage during a planned leave of absence from September through December 2026. This is a defined-term engagement with a targeted start date of early September. The right person hits the ground running. You’ll step into an active paid media program and be expected to manage day-to-day operations with minimal ramp time. Strong platform fluency, sound analytical judgment, and comfort with AI-assisted workflows are must-haves. This is not a project-based or advisory engagement; you’ll own execution across live accounts and comfort taking ownership quickly as a seasoned operator is required. Location: 100% Remote. (Required to work from any location within the USA.) Reports to: Director of Performance Marketing @ Renovation Brands. Contract term: September – December 2026 (3-4 months) Expected commitment: 20–40 hours per week (depending on workload and candidate availability) Hourly Rate: $60.00 p/hr

Requirements

  • Prior contract, freelance, or agency experience strongly preferred; you’re used to owning a workload independently with a short ramp.
  • 5+ years managing paid media in eCommerce environments; lead generation experience a component.
  • Proficiency in GA4 and web analytics; familiarity with BI tools such as Looker or Power BI is a plus.
  • Hands-on expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads — particularly Shopping, feed-based structures, and automated bidding.
  • Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager for both prospecting and retargeting; exposure to Pinterest, TikTok, or other emerging platforms is a bonus.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools in day-to-day marketing work — whether for copy iteration, data analysis, workflow automation, or reporting.
  • Comfortable building and presenting performance reports; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to keep multiple workstreams on track without close supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker or Power BI.
  • Exposure to Pinterest, TikTok, or other emerging platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Take over day-to-day campaign management across paid search and paid social channels, maintaining performance continuity with minimal transition time.
  • Manage budget pacing, bid strategy, and structural optimizations across both eCommerce and lead generation programs.
  • Execute and iterate on prospecting and retargeting strategies within Meta Ads Manager, aligned to full-funnel acquisition goals.
  • Apply AI-powered tools and automation to maintain workflow efficiency — from smart bidding frameworks to LLM-assisted reporting and analysis.
  • Run ongoing A/B tests, maintain a documented testing log, and ensure learnings are captured to memorialize.
  • Produce regular performance reporting with clear, concise takeaways suited for both channel-level review and senior stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Document processes, campaign structures, and optimization decisions to support a clean transition at end of contract term.
