About The Position

Responsible for leading and monitoring assigned performance improvement projects; providing just-in-time PI coaching and training (including Lean, Six Sigma, Rapid Cycle Improvement, etc.) to all leaders and colleagues; coordinating all PI efforts within the assigned care site/business process; redesigning care delivery processes in partnership with improvement teams; and ensuring all projects yield sustained improvements. Leads the improvement projects for all key clinical processes to yield reliable care delivery systems. Results will be measured in terms of care efficiency, care effectiveness, quality and regulatory compliance. Promotes a responsive, supportive and learning environment through the personal demonstration of service excellence orientation, modeling the Saint Francis Healthcare System mission and values. Performs duties related to the business operations of the affiliate and exercises discretion and independent judgment.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing or Bachelor degree in healthcare related field
  • At least 3 years clinical, engineering or financial experience
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must have ability and desire to understand and teach statistical concepts of variation

Nice To Haves

  • BLS Certification
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
  • Previous program development and implementation experience
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma
  • Complete PI academy or equivalent
