Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Clinical, Engineering, Business, Public Health or a related field.
  • Minimum Required: 2-3 years’ experience in a related job discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • Formal improvement training preferred.
  • Formal project management training preferred.
  • Preferred: 1-3 years equivalent experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Ability to work independently to support and manage projects; knowledge of the principles and concepts of project management including proficiency with relevant project management tools (e.g., scope definition, timeline development and tracking, stakeholder analysis, communication templates)
  • Facilitates project meetings across various group sizes and organizational levels, ensuring clear communication, alignment on objectives, and documentation of action items
  • Coordinate learning opportunities with guidance from colleagues and PI Team. Coordinate and contribute to the development of learning objectives for training, and activities which support development of evaluation plans.
  • Create work products and project deliverables under direction of more senior team members. Understand and meet expectations for deliverable quality and timeliness.
  • Performance Improvement: Understand and apply the basic concepts, language, methodology and tools of the UC Health Way for PI, the overall system for problem solving and improvement.
  • Support routine improvement work with documentation, meeting facilitation, and coaching.
  • Assist with data collection and monitoring in partnership with senior members on the PI Team.
  • Be a resource for where to find and how to use basic performance improvement tools.
  • Support the maintenance & development of PI resources, tools and templates.
  • Support the distribution of PI Tools and resources through appropriate UC Health platforms (ex. SharePoint).
