About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Performance Engineer with a strong background in AI-assisted engineering tools. The role involves designing and executing comprehensive performance engineering strategies across various systems, including web, API, database, cloud, and distributed environments. You will be responsible for building and maintaining performance test frameworks and analyzing performance metrics to ensure optimal system performance. This position requires a deep understanding of system architecture, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native platforms, along with proficiency in scripting languages and monitoring tools.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in performance testing/performance engineering.
• Strong experience with performance testing tools such as k6 and BlazeMeter.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted or AI-powered engineering tools used in performance analysis, test automation, observability, or operational intelligence.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, databases, caching, messaging systems, and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience analyzing performance metrics across application, infrastructure, and database layers.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, or Shell.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, or AppDynamics.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end performance engineering strategies for web, API, database, cloud, and distributed systems.
• Build and maintain performance test frameworks for load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Utilize AI-assisted or AI-powered engineering tools for performance analysis, test automation, observability, or operational intelligence.
• Analyze performance metrics across application, infrastructure, and database layers.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
