About The Position

Join Exos as a Performance Coach in a corporate wellness center. The role helps clients achieve health and wellness goals through customized fitness programs, group classes, fitness assessments, and individualized training. The coach also supports engagement initiatives and the daily operation of the fitness facility. The compensation range is $18.50 to $20 per hour; pay may vary based on local wage laws, location, specialty, certifications, work experience, and other business needs. Exos describes a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, subject to eligibility requirements, and also offers a variety of part-time benefits, subject to eligibility requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
At least 6 months of industry experience, including relevant internships.
Experience leading and teaching group exercise classes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, an outgoing personality, strong customer service abilities, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Nice To Haves

Current certification from a nationally accredited industry association, such as NASM, ACSM, NSCA, or ACE.

Responsibilities

Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
Lead and instruct group exercise classes for participants at various fitness levels.
Conduct fitness assessments, prescribe personalized exercise plans, and design workout programs for a wide range of clients, including high-risk populations.
Provide one-on-one consultations and personalized training, and motivate clients in their fitness journeys.
Assist with tasks supporting incentive, health promotion, and other specialty programs to drive engagement.
Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations.
Assist with additional duties as assigned to support smooth day-to-day operations.
