About The Position

Join Exos as a Substitute Performance Coach in a corporate fitness center. The role supports clients in reaching health and wellness goals through customized fitness programs, group classes, and individual training. The position requires availability to pick up shifts on an as-needed basis. Compensation ranges from $15 to $26 per hour; actual pay depends on factors including location, specialty, certifications, work experience, and other business needs. Requirements

• Current certification from a nationally accredited industry association such as NASM, ACSM, NSCA, or ACE, and/or a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Proven experience leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, an outgoing personality, strong customer service abilities, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exercise participants to promote safety and ensure adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct group exercise classes for participants with varied fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments, prescribe individualized exercise plans, and design workout programs for a wide range of clients, including high-risk populations.
• Provide one-on-one consultations and personalized training, and motivate clients in their fitness journeys.
• Assist with tasks supporting incentive, health promotion, and other specialty programs to drive engagement.
• Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support day-to-day operations.
• Be available to pick up shifts on an as-needed basis.
