About The Position

The Performance Analyst will deliver quantifiable and sustainable value for clients, impacting their income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and quality of life. This role involves assisting the Project Director on various deliverables through the development, implementation, training, and evaluation of solutions to client challenges. The analyst will be responsible for daily time entry, weekly invoicing of billable work, and maintaining clear communication with Project Directors, clients, and the Innovative Services Director. They will manage their assigned workload to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery and adhere to established Cogent processes for client and project engagement. Solutions may span business development, organizational engineering, operations management, financial management, and strategic planning. The role includes reviewing financial reports, applying operational improvement deliverables, and contributing to the solution library.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of GAAP financial reporting principles
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using financial software, CRM systems, dashboards, and project management software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate professionally with clients, leadership teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Economics, or related field
  • Experience in consulting, operations, finance, business analysis, or project support
  • Experience working with KPIs, dashboards, or operational metrics
  • Exposure to process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma

Responsibilities
