About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Lead Vascular Technologist, the Per Diem Vascular Sonographer performs various types of non-invasive vascular testing. The role requires knowledge of regulations governing vascular technology and the ability to function within the legal boundaries of vascular technology practice in an IAC accredited laboratory.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of vascular technologist experience
• Must be able to perform all vascular modalities
• Excellent verbal, written, communication, customer service and organizational skills
• Completion of an accredited ultrasound school with a focus on vascular technology, and/or on-site apprenticeship with a vascular laboratory
• Must be a registered RVT (ARDMS), RVS from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or CRV (CARDUP – Canadian equivalent)
• Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with Cerner a plus
• Custom Lab (Software for IAC Accreditation)
