Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist
About The Position
ImageCare Radiology is seeking an experienced Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist for their Sparta location. New hires are required to attend a first-day orientation at their Mount Olive office. The schedule to be filled is Wednesdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Initial training days and times will be discussed and agreed upon with the manager/supervisor. This role is responsible for providing patients with excellent care and experience, performing quality ultrasound scans and biopsies, and working closely with radiologists to gather medical images. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, compassionate, and experienced in producing quality images for proper treatment and diagnosis.
Requirements
- At least one year of working experience at a hospital or working independently is preferred.
- Basic vascular knowledge (venous doppler and carotids) and breast ultrasound experience is a plus.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer License (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Must be vaccinated with the yearly flu shot and MMR.

Responsibilities
- Providing patients with the best care and experience.
- Working with the entire staff to perform quality ultrasound scans and biopsies.
- Working closely with the radiologists to gather medical images.
- Ensuring an efficient and patient-focused experience during procedures.
- Performing ALL Ultrasound exams including General Ultrasound and Ob/Gyn, Vascular, and Breast Ultrasound.
