About The Position

Responsible for performing routine exams in either an inpatient and/or outpatient setting in accordance with established protocols for positioning, image quality, and radiation safety. The inpatient setting may also include assignment to specialty areas requiring a radiologic technologist, such as the ED, OR, or Fluoroscopy. Utilizes a variety of specialized equipment to produce radiographic and fluoroscopic images, including the scanners, power injectors, as well as computers and various software programs to enter patient related information into hospital databases. Contributes to overall excellence of the department through commitment to personal excellence in technical and interpersonal skills. Requirements

  • Radiologic technologist skills for specialty areas like ED, OR, or Fluoroscopy.
  • Proficiency with scanners and power injectors.
  • Computer and various software program skills for patient information entry.
