About The Position
Provides educational instruction and support for school age patients. Maintains appropriate documentation. Instructs patients with appropriate course material. Furnishes educational guidance. Presents educational reports and participates in meetings with clinical and teaching staff.
Requirements
- Five to ten years of prior teaching experience in relevant subject areas is required.
- Employee must be able to physically respond and intervene in a crisis situation.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with special-needs children and adolescents are preferred.
- NYS Teaching Certification is preferred.
