About The Position
The District is seeking responsible, dependable, and safety-conscious individuals to serve as Per Diem School Van Drivers. This position provides transportation for students to and from school, specialized programs, and other approved educational activities on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children and demonstrate patience, professionalism, and a strong commitment to student safety.
Requirements
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with at least a three-year clean record.
- A "V" endorsement must be obtained and maintained throughout employment.
- Must obtain a R-360 bus safety training certificate.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be trained in CPR and First Aid, and maintain a valid CPR and First Aid certificate throughout employment.
- Must be subject to a criminal history check, finger printing and DCF Central Registry check will also be conducted.
