About The Position
Interim HealthCare is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for per diem school-based assignments throughout New Jersey. These roles offer flexible scheduling and excellent pay, allowing nurses to make a meaningful impact on the lives of special needs students. Assignments include bus transportation, substitute school nurse, one-on-one support, and field trips/special events.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey RN or LPN license
- Pediatric experience required
- 1+ year of skilled nursing experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Ride on school bus to monitor students and provide medication assistance.
- Support students in the school health office during the school day.
- Accompany a specific student during the entire school day to manage medication and assist with other medical needs.
- Accompany a group of students during transportation to and from off-campus locations for field trips and special events.
